 Hi All,
First of all, happy new year to all the Sajha users.
May this year bring all the best wishes for all of us.

I am a F1 student, working on my OPT and I will eventuall file H-1 in the coming days.
But the thing is, my visa is expired and I hear lot of things like, the Nepalese embassy wont allow the stamping and
all those crap. I know some of my frens who have been stuck in Nepal.

Please provide me the valuable thoughts on what the reality is and
what is the best case and worst case schenario .....Please do provide any loopholes , if any?

Thanks ....
Purweli

i think you have not stated ur situation probably. but i believe you are in OPT now and filing for H1 and trying to go nepal. and u think that US embassy in Nepal would not give you visa since your visa is expired. Are those statements right?

U don't need a visa stamp if you don't intend to leave US.

the best option is to call USCIS and the lawyer, you feel calling uscis will put u in trouble, no that wont be case , they are helpful
and the worst case scenario call the lawyer, i know onw keshab raj sedai of new york, u just hv to pay 100 bucks , he will answer most of your question
just give ur cc no b4 calling him, :)
