I am in my last month of CPT, and I will be back in school for my last quarter before I graduate. My current employers have assured me that they want to keep me after graduation. And they are working on their end to get the H1B.

I would like to get some work while Im in school for my last quarter. Are there any avenue I can take so I can freelance with the same company without jeopardizing my H1 possibility and my employer's legal standing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

apply for pre-OPT, i think u can work for 20hrs/week without any hassle before ur graduation

make sure u dont do cpt for 12 months to make sure u get opt
