 How to find a consulting project?

I joined a dhoti consulting company and got trained as a Business Analyst. Its 3+ weeks that I am in the market. I have not received a single client call, and only 2 vendor calls. Things are looking frustrating. Is there any way I can find a project on my own? Anybody with better suggestions? I would appreciate.

Arunima, The Market seems to be really slow since past few months. So I would suggest you to be patience. Don't think to switch the company its same everywhere...

Try full time...these days companies are hiring full time rather than consulting...
